Contact and contactless ID cards utilize electronic memory and/or a circuit imbedded within the card to provide access to designated individuals. Sometimes called “Smart cards” or Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) cards, these cards can be used to unlock a room by placing the card directly on the door lock sensor (contact), or can allow access as long as a card is within a certain proximity (contactless). Our key cards are ISO 14333A compliant.
